Yesterday we went back to the doctor for a follow up from a few weeks ago when my proteins were high. Apparently my proteins are back to normal so that is great news. Doctor Lee did all the normal appointment stuff. They weighed me, I have only gained 7 pounds which is very good. They took my blood pressure, it was a little high, but nothing to be worried about right now. She used the doppler and found his heartbeat which was about 150. Baby Alex apparently doesn’t like dopplers, ok he doesn’t like anything that interferes with his space. So for the second time he thumped the doppler. He is still breach, but Doctor Lee isn’t too worried about it right now. She said he has plenty of time to move where he should be. And then she measured my belly. This is where it gets interesting. Apparently we are going to have a horse! Little Alex, or should I say big Alex is making my belly measure 28 weeks, but we are only 26 weeks along! So I have another appointment this Friday to go have another Level 2 ultrasound to see how big this kiddo is or see if there is something else going on! This has definitely been an interesting pregnancy! We’ll keep you posted.

Time sometimes gets away from us. We have been taking a lot of vacations, so it’s been hard to keep this site updated. Last week we drove to Oklahoma for Audrey’s 10 year high school reunion. It was nice to see some old faces again. After our visit there, we went to Talequah for some relaxation on the Illinois River. Nicco and Heather invited us over to the cabin for a getaway. It was a pleasent visit. I am still trying to gather photos to post, but they will be up soon. I hope everyone had a safe July 4th.
