Big Foot
The beginning of my third trimester has been interesting to say the least! I have had some minor swelling in my feet a couple of times throughout my pregnancy, but a few days ago my feet and ankles just about exploded. I went outside to help David with the yard and within 10 minutes or so I no longer had ankles and it felt like I was walking on footballs! It was the most disgusting thing I have encountered so far in this pregnancy! I went in and laid on the couch and about half an hour later, my ankles had returned for the most part. The same thing happened again the next day, but this time I was at school helping with registration. Over the last 4 hours or so of registration we all sat around and watched my feet and ankles get bigger and bigger. Once again when I got home I laid down and put my feet up and the swelling went down. All my girlfriends had warned me about this and I had even witnessed it with my next door neighbor who had her baby in May, but you don’t know what it’s like until it happens to you! Boy I can’t wait until school starts so I can be up on my feet all day! My feet and ankles may actually expolode one day.
