Super-Duper Weekend
The trip to Okahoma was fantastic. We left Friday afternoon, and stayed the night in Claremore with some friends. In the morning, Audrey got up early and went shopping for Alex. She spent a few hours and brought back a boat load of toys. The word I got was, “I got about $200 worth of toys for less than $100.00″. Annyywwaayy, we had lunch with DJ, Brian and Mattie and then headed north to Grandma and Grandpa’s house. They were all so happy to see him. He smiled and chatted with all the grandparents. I think Grandma and Grandpa are pretty happy with Alex.
On the way home, however, things got ugly. Apparently the small fuzzy monkey hanging from Alex’s car seat must have talked some smack to Alex, because the fighting began. From the driver’s seat, all I could see was monkey fur flying around in the rear view mirror. The photos show all the gruesome details. I even added play by play comments of every punch, slap and bite. By the time we got home, the monkey had been crushed by Alex’s mighty power. Let’s just say that in the end, Alex *owned* that monkey, and there is a good change we will be finding whats left of the monkey in Alex’s diapers. :)
Thanks to mom for all the great backseat photography.
