Time slipped away again. Work has been keeping me busy. Since it’s been over two months, allow me to catch you up.
First, the new job is going really well. Because of the hurricanes, we have been working long hours for our clients helping them raise money for the victims. If you are in the giving mood, please visit either Feed The Children or American Bible Society. These are two great organizations whose mission is important. It makes me feel really good to be working for such a good and noble cause.
On September 11, I turned the ripe old age of 31. For my birthday, my friends got me a DVD of my favorite childhood televison program, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. They also got me an iPod Nano. Thanks everyone!! For myself, I bought a new car. Audrey and I decided on a BMW 525. It was in great condition, and it’s previous owner was the Music Minister of First Baptist Church of Frisco, so it’s been treated well.
Now, the news you’ve all been waiting for: Alex. He has taken his first steps. He can walk along with help so it won’t be long before he is running through the house. He is talking, too. He points to everything and says, “Was dat?” He can also say Mamma and Dadda. The thing I am most proud of is that just short of 11 months, he can actually swim on his own. At this swim lessons yesterday, he went under the water, and kicked his way to Audrey about 4 feet away. I am so proud of him.
That pretty much sums it up for now. I will try to give more detail in the newsletter which I will be preparing this weekend.
