There has been a lot going on lately. This last weekend, Audrey and I got Alex a babysitter, and went to a dinner/dance thing. We arrived home late, and then got up early the next morning for a conference. It was fun to have a night away from Alex, but we sure did miss him.

Sorry it’s been a while since I have updated my web site. I have some more video to put up, and I hope you’ve been enjoying that part. I added a few more sets of photos tonight, but I have more still to update. Where does the time go? I want to keep my web site updated, but it’s hard to find the time to do it. When I do get the time to sit down in front of the computer, I feel guilty that Audrey is watching Alex by herself. Tonight was especially trying, because he is starting to test the water. He will do things he know he is not suppose to all the while looking at you out of the corner of his eye to see what you will do. He got that from the Bacon genes, I am sure of it. I would have never done anything like that as a kid.
Audrey starts TAKS testing this week, so that means the evenings will be.. fun? She is usually stressed out when its TAKS time. My allergy shots have been going well. Each time, the swelling gets a little smaller as they increase the dosage. I guess that is a good thing. I haven’t had to use my Epipen, so that is a good thing. For those of you who do not know what an Epipen is, let me explain. There is a chance that within an hour after you receive a shot, you can go into anaphylactic shock. The chances are very low, but it can happen. While my body is going weird, aka throat swelling, chest tightening, airway being blocked, dizziness, and a possibility of others things, I am suppose to grab this pen, pull the back off of it and stab myself with it, giving me a direct dose of epinephrin. Sounds lovely, doesn’t it? As bad as it may sound, I will be relieved to not have allergy symptoms anymore.
On a brighter note, things are going pretty well. Look for new stuff coming to the web site. I am in the middle of a redesign, so hopefully a new version of Dave’s World will be coming soon, and some other cool stuff is in development.
