Apple iPhone 3G

Posted by David on Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

First, lets get the marketing hoopla out of the way. Apple says this on their web site:
Introducing iPhone 3G. With fast 3G wireless technology, GPS, support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, and the new App Store, iPhone 3G puts even more amazing features in your hands. And just like the original iPhone, it combines three products [...]

April Showers Bring Mouth Pain

Posted by David on Wednesday, April 5th, 2006

It’s strange how children begin life. They start out very helpless, laying around like a small blob making very little noise. They eat, poop and coo most of the time. Then, when they hit that 10 month mark, they take off like a rocket. Alex was an early walker at 10 months, but within that week, he was walking, talking and climbing. He has been catching on to things at a surprising rate. Recently, he has decided that every where he goes, he should run. In class, he is going very well. If you’ve been watching the web site closely, you will notice that Alex is holding the walking rope at Day Care. He really enjoys going on a walk with the class. The photo inset was taken at Gatti Town on the carousel. Now, I enjoy watching my son ride rides and have fun, but we have created a monster. Every time we go to a store, there is a big production and he wants to ride on ALL the rides. This would be fine, I suppose, if Daddy were made of quarters. Unfortunately, we spend most of the time making noises as I rock the lifeless machine. Fun stuff.

I apologize for not updating the photos. I have not been taking too many photos lately. I do have quite a bit of video to post, but I have been trying to space it out and post a new video every couple weeks. If you have not been to the video page, you should check it out. You will need Flash installed, though. Speaking of photos, though, we will be doing Alex’s 18 months pictures next month. We will post those as soon as we get them back from the photographer.

Everything else in life has been pretty good. Spring is here, and this is the first year since I was a child that I have not been sniffing and snorting. My allergy shots have been working like a charm. Thank goodness for doctors. While I am on the note of doctors, I went to the Dentist today. First, let me say that I deserved everything I got. I have abused my mouth (sorry teeth) for a while by not getting routine cleanings. The hygienist let me know about it. My mouth hurt so bad when I got out of there that I am going to make it a point to floss and get routine cleanings. Wow, it hurt. Want to know what it felt like? Let me elaborate. It felt like they sliced my gums open, and laid the skin across my face, then stood over my chest with a pick axe … okay, maybe not quite that bad, but it hurt anyway. After some new cool stuff like a sand blast to my teeth, they sent me on my way - only to come back and get 3 fillings, 3 exactions, a implant and a partridge in a pear tree. I am finally loosing my wisdom teeth, so I guess I will be even more dunce than I am now. Great.

How is your mouth.. err.. life? Send me an e-mail, don’t be a stranger.
