Alex the Chicken

Alex is a ChickenWe went Halloween costume shopping for Alex yesterday. We left with the idea of looking for either a Moe Doodlebop costume (from the Doodlebops) or a Stewie Griffin costume (from the Family Guy). We visited a local costume shop, but didn’t find anything good. They mostly had adult costumes, and I do mean adult. They had skimpy Playboy-style costumes for women — maids, nurses, you get the picture and they also had really horrible, horror costumes. We also tried Wal-mart and Target. He rode in the basket through Target saying, “Bawk, Bawk.” Alex is a ChickenAs you can imagine, people saw him and smiled. He was his normal self, showing off and loving it. I can not imagine where he gets this trait. The costume is pretty heavy, so I am sure it was hot. As we were getting close to the check out, he asked to take it off. When we unzipped it to take him out his poor little head was sweaty. Audrey and I hope it will be a cool night Halloween night. Alex makes a cute chicken. What do you think?
