Apple iPhone 3G

Posted by David on Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

First, lets get the marketing hoopla out of the way. Apple says this on their web site:
Introducing iPhone 3G. With fast 3G wireless technology, GPS, support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, and the new App Store, iPhone 3G puts even more amazing features in your hands. And just like the original iPhone, it combines three products [...]

2006 Christmas Photo of David, Audrey and Alex Pruitt - View all photos
It was that time again… time to gather up a lot of cloths, Alex and all that goes with him and drive to the photography studio for our annual Christmas photos. This year, we thought we would try Kiddie Kandids. Some of our friends went last year, and were pretty happy with them. The photographers are pretty good at keeping the attention of the little ones. Alex warmed up to our photographer pretty quickly, so we were in and out in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, some others were not so lucky. There was one couple with a little girl who had to leave and come back a few times, because the child was so upset. The only issue I had with the entire process was the $15.95 Archive CD. For $15.95, it’s not a bad deal. However, if you want the copyright to the CD, it costs $100.00. It’s not like any of the local photo labs care, but still $100.00 is somewhat steep after you pay for the sitting, the photos, etc.

The rest of the weekend was spent at church and our small home group on Sunday night. On Sunday, our church home group did a gift exchange, which was a lot of fun. For the first time in my life, I drew #1, which meant I got to steal or choose a gift last. My first draw from the gifts was a pink necklace and earring set. Since pink is not my color, I wasn’t too excited. The final gift opened was a CD, so I decided to ‘trade’ for my jewelry — sorry Jenny. The CD was Chris Tomlin Live in Austin. I have a few of his songs already, so this was a nice addition to my iPod. Go pick it up, you will enjoy it. I believe that Chris Tomlin was male Christian vocalist of the year this year AND he is a local boy from Dallas.

This week is going to be pretty crazy. All of our clients at work are trying to get final year-end appeals squeezed in over the next few weeks, so that’s keeping my team busy. Friday night is our department Christmas party… there will be plenty o wine and cheese, so I am looking forward to that.

I hope all is well this Christmas season. Your Christmas cards will be in the mail tomorrow morning. Love you all!

Where are our Christmas day photos? I know you’re not at work this week, but you have to give us something to talk about!
