Apple iPhone 3G

Posted by David on Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

First, lets get the marketing hoopla out of the way. Apple says this on their web site:
Introducing iPhone 3G. With fast 3G wireless technology, GPS, support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, and the new App Store, iPhone 3G puts even more amazing features in your hands. And just like the original iPhone, it combines three products [...]

Your Assistance

Posted by David on Sunday, December 31st, 2006

I have been working on a couple projects over my vacation, and I am in need of your opinion. I need you to compare the photo section that is on the web site now with a new one I am considering. Here are the two links to view:

Original Photo Section »
New Photo Section »

Please visit both, and let me know which you like better. Also comment on what you like and what you don’t like about each. I really want to make this experience pleasant for you, so your comments and feedback are appreciated. The new photo section (the second link) does not contain all the photos. I have just created a few sections as an example.

I hope to gather all the feedback within a week, and make any adjustments as necessary to better improve my web site. Thank you!

Have a great New Years Eve!

I actually like the original photo session better. It organized like a blog, so you know the newest pictures are at the top. The other one was a bit confusing because - do you go left, right, down, left, right, down, etc… or do you go down the first column then to the next (in terms of chronological order). Also, the newer session takes time to load, and the original one does not.

I also think the new one takes a little long to load, but I like the interface. It’s more professional-like. I’m sure that’s a word. :)

The new format is nice to look at although it takes longer to load and is a bit confusing to navigate.

Also while viewing the slide show the load bar developed inside the picture detracting from the wonderful pictures of my very handsome grandson.

Perhaps cutting down on the resolution would speed up the loading process but I really like the detail of each picture.
