Apple iPhone 3G

Posted by David on Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

First, lets get the marketing hoopla out of the way. Apple says this on their web site:
Introducing iPhone 3G. With fast 3G wireless technology, GPS, support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, and the new App Store, iPhone 3G puts even more amazing features in your hands. And just like the original iPhone, it combines three products [...]

Happy Good Friday! Let’s not forget what Good Friday is all about. Amen.

I hope you have some great weekend plans, and that they hopefully include time spent with your family. Our plans include a turkey, baked beans and deviled eggs.. mmmm.. I can’t wait for that.

Weight Watchers hasn’t been too bad. Audrey and I weighed in on Wednesday. I lost 8 pounds and Audrey lost 1.6 pounds. I have to admit, it’s not been too bad. Since we’ve increased the amount of protein and fiber, we’re rarely hungry. The only problem I am having is drinking all the water. It’s suggested to drink 6 glasses a day. As many of you know, I don’t really like the taste of water (water doesn’t even have a flavor!!), so it makes it hard to drink a lot of it.

And what can I say about Alex that the photos don’t already say? He’s a mess. He likes attention just like his mother. He loves to show off, too. You know that comes from his mother as well. And don’t even think about stepping out of line in the morning — the kid is a BEAR in the morning. The other day, I told him I needed to change his diaper. He told me, “No, daddy, my diapers okay on my pee-pee and butt!” What can you say to that? I got a good laugh out of that one.

Last weekend, we bought him a little mower that blows bubbles as you push it. On Sunday morning, before church, I mowed the back yard. In typical fashion, Alex wanted to help me, so he mows the yard starting on the opposite side. Since it was nice and sunny outside, I decided to take off my shirt. He ran over to Audrey, who was sitting on the back patio watching, and asked her to take off his shirt. As I was moving, I looked behind me and noticed Alex moving about 5 paces behind me with his shirt off. I wish I could have gotten pictures as it was really funny. I am sure of one thing — the boy does not have gender confusion. He loves tools, dinosaurs and lawn equipment. He would fit right in with the Hank Hill family.

Have a great weekend, and a super-duper Easter! We love you all!!

Sounds like an amazing boy…..but, somehow I remember another boy who liked to show off and liked attention????
Have a great Easter and congrats with Weight Watchers….I tried it for one week…TWICE, and bailed. Too much food for me, I can handle the water, as that is all I drink, but protien and fiber are not my thing, unless it is disquised as chocolate!!ha
