New Photo Sets
Easter Weekend
Since Audrey had Good Friday off from work, we loaded up the car and headed up to Oklahoma for an extended weekend visit. I had just transfered a few new movies to the iPod, so Alex was set for a 5 hour car ride. We got into town on Friday evening in time for dinner. We went to Murphy’s Steakhouse, which was a train wreck for Audrey and I being on Weight Watchers. We ate a light breakfast and a very light lunch, so we were prepared to take a hit to our points at dinner. We ate smaller portions, and left satisfied. As far as Weight Watchers, it was a challenging weekend. That’s all I will say about that.
The rest of the weekend was uneventful. We just visited with family, and played some cards. Since we got back from vacation, my mother and Jason have been dying for a rematch of Liverpool Rummy. We played a few games — Merle won one game, and I won the other. It was good times had by all.
On Easter Day, we had our traditional family dinner. Mom fixed baked turkey and the rest of the family pitched in and brought a dish. It was yummy. After Alex had a nap, we did our Easter Egg hunt. Alex just couldn’t believe the Easter bunny would leave so many egg laying around. He did a great job and found them all. Don’t forget to visit the photo section to see all the weekend fun!
