Apple iPhone 3G

Posted by David on Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

First, lets get the marketing hoopla out of the way. Apple says this on their web site:
Introducing iPhone 3G. With fast 3G wireless technology, GPS, support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, and the new App Store, iPhone 3G puts even more amazing features in your hands. And just like the original iPhone, it combines three products [...]

Summertime Fun

The New Truck
Someone reminded me a couple days ago that I have not posted photos of my new truck. Well, here it is in all its glory. We bought it in late March, I believe. This is the first Ford I have ever bought, so I am hoping it will be a good vehicle. For some crazy reason, I went with the 5.6L V8. You can imagine how much it enjoys gas. Oh well, it is a pretty sweet ride, so it’s worth it for me.. now. :)

Summer is upon us. We’ve been cramming as much stuff into the weekends as we can. This last weekend, we went to visit some friends. We played a few hours of tennis, went swimming, and got a chance to play some cards. It was a really good weekend. In a couple weeks, we’re heading down to San Antonio to go to a really cool water park, Schlitterbahn image. We’re excited as it will be the first water park Alex will visit. He really loves the pool, so I can only imagine how much fun he will have here.

Alex continues with his wonderful vocabulary. Here are just a few (some repeated from other posts):

  • Hool-up (Pull-up)
  • Holy Holy (Rolley Polley)
  • Wal-marp (Wal-mart)
  • Robok (Robot)
  • Herburger (Hamburger)
  • Faffle (Waffle)

Some people think I am funny, but Alex is hilarious. Once he gets some years on him, I am sure he will be quite the comedian.

Audrey has been staying busy. She’s working summer school this summer to buy herself a MacBook. Her old iBook finally died, so she’s been bumming mine until we get her one this summer. She’s also going to use some of her time off to spend it with Nana and Papa. I think Alex will enjoy the visit as well.

I am still trying to get better about updating my blog. Sorry I haven’t been active with it lately, I’ve just been super busy.
