I saw this statement this morning, and it couldn’t be truer:
Liberals are generally good people, who fill the life raft with so many good intentions that it sinks…drowning all aboard.
It is a rare opportunity that the remaining members of the Pruitt family are all dressed up at the same time. At the end of Mom’s funeral, the group stood together to take some photos. Below you will find a photo of Cheryl, Terry and I, Me with my invisible wife and finally a photo of Jason and Cheryl, Audrey and I, and Terry and Jenny.
This weekend, I will try to post some new photos of Andrew and Alex, and write more about Andrew’s progress. He’s our little chunk.

Mom’s funeral service went pretty well. Like Dad’s service, it was fairly short, sweet and to the point. At the end of the service, the family lined up and thanked everyone. A couple people went through the line and said they had some old photos of Mom in school. A couple days later, I received an e-mail with some photos. For those of you who didn’t know my mother, she didn’t like to have her photos taken. Therefore, we don’t have a lot of pictures of Mom. I have added those photos here, and if my mother was still alive she would kill me for posting them. I hope she would understand.
Audrey, Alex, Andrew and I spent two weeks in Oklahoma. It took quite some time to handle all the family affairs. We’re sure glad to be back into a normal routine again. Thank you all for the cards, phone calls and e-mails. It’s great to know we have such loving, caring friends.
After a 3 year fight with cancer, my mother passed away at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday. It has been a very difficult week watching my mother rapidly decline. I will miss my mother very much, but I am glad that she will no longer be in pain.
My sister and I are very lucky to have been with both our parents when they passed away. A lot of people don’t get the luxury of saying goodbye.
My mother’s funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2008 at Stumpff Funeral Home, 1600 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006.
