I don't agree at all with what Billy Graham's daughter said..I think she misses the whole point, on what God is telling us..when she said that "God is saddened"..
Anne Graham may be saddened by it but, God is not.
God is not human and therefore does not feel anything but LOVE for us all. It is the human emotion that feels the sadness and then try to use God to justify what is happening to make it right.

I know what GOD thinks of me and all of us, but do we feel that way about ourselves and all of us. We either feel Love or Fear...and it shows in our actions, and also in our surroundings and what comes to us.

We REAP what we SOW.. and that is God's way of getting our attention..and it seems it works..we just don't realize it yet.

Stein's original comments are pretty good, but a bunch of this wasn't from Stein at all and some of it is false:
http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/confessions.asp

While I agree with a lot of what Stein says, I wonder why so many people want govt schools to teach our kids religion or support prayer in school. I want to teach my kids right from wrong and I want to teach my kids about the religion we belong to, not whatever religion the teacher believes in. Schools should be teaching kids math, science, reading, history, etc and we as parents should work with our kids to make sure they are learning enough.

Parents should be instilling values, beliefs, and religion. These ideals change from person to person, and I for one do not want someone else pushing their beliefs on my kids. There is plenty of discourse even within christian religions to make me not want another christian teaching my kids religion.

I compeletely agree with 'We reep what we sow'.. People get what they deserve when they pass off their own responsibilties to the govt and schools.

btw-Not bashing you posting the article or anything. As a christian I agree that God is missing from many aspects of our lives. I just don't agree with wanting govt schools to push a christian agenda, especially considering it tends to be done with political motivation. If I want my kids learning religion in school I personally would send my kids to a private Catholic school.
