There is a new virus out that has the potential to cause some serious problems called Conficker C with a April 1st target date. For you Mac users, you can go back to your regularly scheduled program. For Windows users, you should make sure your home PC’s have the latest Windows updates and that your anti-virus is up to date before April 1st. IT Services takes care of patching and AV updates for your STRATMARK systems.

If you’re not sure if you’re patched and safe, you may want to run this free scanner from Microsoft. Please be advised that this comes with a disclaimer. I don’t know what you have loaded on your home PC, altered, etc. so run it at your own risk. It should be safe, but there are no guarantees.
